Takes little to get hooked but once you are . You . Don't want to put it down. Now I've got to find the next book in the series to see what happens to Char.
This is a great read .I read the first series and this just reignited it all over again. Can't wait for the next one.
Okay it's a good story, but at the end I didn't feel happy or sad. Was all that necessary, the whole book taken up about a fight and the consequences.
There's not one character in that story that I felt strongly about, sorry but book two will have to be free for me to read it.
Not as strong as the trilogy in which this was born. A more personal journey for Cas with the horrors coming from man rather than the infected. Tomasso takes a look at the world of man, the infected are merely a backdrop.
I’ll read the next book in this series in hopes that the intensity of the last comes back.
I was so saddened when The Vaccination series ended. But the Arcadia series so far is amazing. I just finished Damn the Dead and loved it. I almost couldn't put it down but I had to because he had company. Char is such a strong character. I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out. Write faster Phillip!
Phillip Tomasso has done it again! I was already a huge fan of his Vaccination trilogy (It started with the flu), so I was excited when I found out there are continuing adventures with a major character from that trilogy. Once started, you cannot put this book down. The events in Damn the Dead occur three years after Vaccination. Some of the events that occurred between those years are brought up in flashbacks, and help give the reader an idea of how Char became the harder, stronger character you meet in the first book of the Arcadia trilogy.

I'm excited for the rest!
From just this book alone has my curiosity up as to does he always write this good? I enjoyed this book, I don't know why there isn't a book two or three? But this book is def worth it. The writer puts you right there in midst of everything that is happening and you won't want to put the book down, I didn't and I have read a lot of zombie genre books, some are just ok, some are ok, some are good but then, out of the rough of it all you pull an author like this and bingo! Only he doesn't write enough (
